Excellent value!
I've been using these hoses for several years now. We use them in the barn,in the garden,to wash equipment, etc. They outlast any other flex hose I've tried and they are easier to use and have much better water flow. We put them through some very harsh conditions and in winter extreme cold down to -50F(we drain after each use in this kind of cold of course). They handle anything easily and stay nice and flexible. We can drive farm equipment over them, animals step on them and chew on them, they get dragged in dirt and rocks, etc. Very very durable. If I had one complaint I would say the valve end could be a little better made. We usually end up putting our own end on before the hose wears out because the valve in the original end starts leaking long before the hose actually goes bad. It's a minor inconvenience and for as great and durable as these hoses are in every other way it's well worth it to me. I would recommend this hose to anyone that's looking for a good quality flex hose that's also very competitively priced. Great product!

Doesn't last
Bought this 3 1/2 years ago, keep it covered out of the sun & use it infrequently over this time period....guessing about 10 times a year Went to use it today...had 2 leaks & as I used it, developed 2 more places on the hose w/ leaks. I don't abuse the things I own...& this hose has NOT been heavily used. Most garden hoses I've owned over the years, last many years...this one did not. Would not buy it again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Great when compared to standard hoses
I use a hose to water two gardens, a task that involves going around many curves and going up stone steps to water the top of the sloping garden. Using even my lighter weight standard hose is a nightmare, like wrestling a python, and heartbreakingly, the hose beheads flowers along the way. I also have experience with a true "pocket hose," which is extremely lightweight. Problem with the pocket hose is that it's fragile and quickly breaks. The Flexi Hose is a middle ground. It's much lighter in weight than even my lightweight standard hose. This is an enormous help. About 50 percent of the time, I can drag it where I need it without having to retrace my steps, gather it up, and place it along the route. I have to add that that other 50 percent of the time, I do have to do the gathering up and placing when the path to where I need it is especially long and curvy. I accept that because the hose is still such an improvement over everything else. I do want to point out that the marketing claim of "no kinks" is inaccurate. The Flexi Hose does kink. However, here too it surpasses a standard hose in that often you can unkink it simply by giving delicate little tugs from where you are, as opposed to constantly walking back, bending down and unkinking. But sometimes the little tug technique doesn't work and you have to unkink along the way. It's annoying that it doesn't live up to the claim; but maybe no hose can, and the problem isn't with the hose but with the claim. I suggest to the company that they stop making this unqualified claim; it should be softened to something like: 50% less kinking OR occasional kinks that are easy to pull loose. I also very much appreciated how easy it was to attach to my other hose. This took less than five minutes and was super-simple. The hose came with instructions and a diagram, all of which were excellent. All in all, I'm very happy with this product and will probably buy another as a back-up. For the first time in all my experiences with hoses, I'm following all the suggestions in the materials about emptying it after EACH use and turning off the central water supply. If there's even a slight risk of rain, I make sure the whole hose, especially the brass fitting, is under shelter to prevent rusting. I am caring for it and pampering it like a baby...and this reflects how happy I am with it and how much I rely on it.Constance

Lives up to the hype
I have only had this for one day and am basing my review strictly on what I have experienced so far. This little gem comes in a box that is 9x9x6 (pretty small) so I was dubious about its 100' length. Simple to hook up to my outdoor faucet and it comes with a nozzle that has various settings. Followed the instructions on hook up and starting the water flow. This hose absolutely lives up to the hype. It easily expanded to its full length and I was able to water plants at both the front and back of my house. The magic happens when you turn it off. Turn off the faucet, then empty the hose using the nozzle. This thing shrinks back to its compact size! I am super impressed. We'll see how it holds up in the Florida heat.

Update: Love this hose
I bought this hose last December 2020. This hose has not lasted even 1 year. It already has sprung a large leak rendering it unusable. I have always made sure all water was out of it every time I use it and also turn the lever off till the next time I use it. I have used it almost daily for this whole past year. But I would think it should last longer then this. Now I have to buy another one. But it won't be from this brand. Don't recommend it.Update: I contacted the company, and they responded the next day. My hose has a lifetime warranty! And they are sending me a new hose. I don't think any of the other flexible hose companies have that. Now that's what I call great customer care. Let's see how long it takes.7/26/22 Still have the same hose that the company sent me. Still working great and no leaks. My favorite hose. Won't ever buy any other kind. I have recently bought one for a few friends. They are so easy to carry around and put back after use. I keep mine in a ceramic pot in my driveway in the shade.

Too Heavy to Pull with Me
I have used flexible hoses for several years and have enjoyed the lightweight, easy to use quality of these hoses. But, since this one was 150 ft, and because it is a much heavier texture, I don't find it as easy to maneuver. It is hard to pull along with me and gets into knots easily. I wanted a 100 ft hose, but this one was all that was available at the time, and I think the shorter one would have been better for me, an 80 year old Grandma!
