Untucked tops cover the waistline where the skirt fits close, but the 2X tops I wear cover that part!, I did put a bit of a strain on the seam stretching this skirt when I put it on over my head, but that's because I chose to get the XL which I am still glad I did. One slight problem I had comes from each skirt is sewn in a different country, I think, because sizing is not always exactly consistent from one skirt to the next. So, one was tighter around my waist, but I was still able to make it work, so everything in honkey-dorey!
