Significantly larger and sturdier than the swiss army knife we all know so well. I purchased it mostly for the saw blade, which is of generous length and has the "complex geometry" of teeth we see on modern folding wood saws. This would be a useful survival knife (and I'm a snooty knife snob). Big, sturdy, useful -- just keep in mind it's a good 50% larger than you probably think of when you think of a swiss army knife. For me (as a survival knife with a saw) it's exactly what I was looking for and really never expecting to find. I will still carry a dedicated fixed blade knife into the woods, but I will be very happy to have this as a backup and as a saw source for small limbs when I don't have a proper saw. The awl and the tweezers are priceless in the odd circumstance you need them.
