I've bought 6 of these seeds. The first 3 I soaked; nothing! The next three I nicked and planted in barely-damp well drained soil. Two weeks passed with no joy. I was about to dig the spot up and plant the cucuzzi seeds the lady sent me from Lithuania. BUT... yesterday I went out and one bean had sprouted and looked healthy. Today, two more. I'm on my way to an amazing crop of huge beans. I hope. Update. Two days later. The first bean to sprout now has 2 pairs of true leaves deployed and I can see a hint of the third pair. The other two are about to open up their leaves. Be aware that you have to break the seed coat slightly to get them to sprout at all. Simply take a sharp scissor and lightly cut one end of the seed coat.
