I was trying to find a mount for my kayak and this works great! Easy to install and stays put. Good value for the money. I didn't like the tie ropes and door/trunk T mounts, or whatever they are called. They seemed cheap, so I never used them and purchased others separately. There was one review I saw that complained of the kayak sliding from side to side. You need the front and back tie downs and have no idea why you wouldn't or why you would expect it to stay put with only the 2 pull straps. I just got back from a trip to Canada over 750 miles each way and no problems.
