My previous set literally rusted but this one seems to me to be made of solid steel. Of course, I expect that it will also be slightly scratched over time just like everything now. The mills are battery-operated. Grind well coarse salt and pepper. Looks good. Generally I'm happy with them. ### ⭐ Avoid this product. I’ve tried several sets of new batteries and adjusting the grind wheel at the top. Nothing has resolved this issue.
