What I found was the red wire coming out of the led driver box was exposed at the connection. What I suspect is the exposed connector must have grounded out to a piece of metal on the car and caused I short. I contacted the manufacturer with hopes of purchasing the little box only. They work great and fit is amazing. The only drawback I noticed about the hardware design is that the access panel for the high beam bulb is in the rear of the unit. Once installed to only way to access it is to remove the wheel and entire fender liner.
