A: The black liner is for the water reservoir tank and the clean sleeve goes on the heater bar

**Q: What is the size of each pad? Do you use one pad each time you replace, or 2?**
A: Two pads should be used each time you replace them (twice a year is recommended).  The pads can be cut to fit your tank.
