But honestly, the scent isn’t bad or overpowering at all. If you’ve never eaten REAL CHERRIES, not Maraschino cherries, then it won’t smell weird. And if you’ve ever eaten anything with flaxseed in it, same thing, won’t smell weird to you. That’s all the scent is, just cherries and a hint of flaxseed. It dissipates after a minute or two anyway. This product is really good if you don’t like a heavy moisturizer when you go to sleep. It also makes your skin really soft which is nice. My only complaint is that for how much this is, you get less than a stick of deodorants worth of product. But with all of Paulas choice products, a pea size amount will cover your whole face. So a little goes a long way. My rosacea recently got very angry and burn-y. After an exhaustive examination of ingredient lists, I realized I have recently (and randomly) developed an intolerance to Cetearyl Alcohol (found in most lotions for sensitive skin... e.g., CeraVe, Eucerin, etc.). This lotion does not have that ingredient, so it does not make my skin flare. It's a perfect night cream (though not the most heavy, if that's what you're into... More of a medium weight).I should point out the smell everyone is talking about is the same as the unscented lotions that are used in facials...
