There is a button to select the RPMs; no adjusting belts on this system. It is shipped with a Audio Technica MM cartridge. So far I have very pleased with it. The only gripe I might have is the price point, especially when it came in at 700$. I paid 500$ and it was a bit more palatable due to the build quality. If I use airplay to stream from the turntable will I need any thing else?** A: Thanks for your question. MusicCast is not compatible with Sonos. Both reside on your home wifi network but neither can stream to the other. Sonos has several products with analog stereo line level inputs. A turntable with a built in phono preamp can connect to: Sonos 5, Sonos Play 5, Sonos Amp, and Sonos Port. **Q: Why can’t i connect to my echo via bluetooth? when i do connect bluetooth the record doesn’t spin.** A: because the bluetooth connection is an input, not an output. It's meant to receive music from your other device and passthrough the turntable out to your amp or stereo.
