**Q: What do the questions on the cards look like? Is someone able to provid me with at least one to get a general idea?**
A: There are 2 types of cards. Mastery and Moments. Moments cards require verbal expression such as "Mindfulness, like any skill, takes practice. What is something you are good at that took a while to learn?". Mastery cards help children and teens learn mindfulness techniques such as this card "Keep your eyes open and sit in silence for a few minutes. How did you feel at first? Did you feel any different when you were done?"

A: Hi. Thanks for your question! Mindfulness Matters has a few options for game play, depending on the amount of time you have available. Players can work cooperatively to spell the word "Mindful" while answering questions or independently for longer game play. For children and teens new to Mindfulness strategies, children who need to work on team-building skills, or when facing resistance, we recommend cooperative play. Without knowing which letter each player will get each turn, the element of surprise adds a dose of fun as well :)

A: Hi! Cards are divided into two groups: Mastery and Moments. Moments cards require verbal expression such as "Mindfulness, like any skill, takes practice. What is something you are good at that took a while to learn?".  Mastery cards help children and teens learn mindfulness techniques such as this card "Keep your eyes open and sit in silence for a few minutes. How did you feel at first? **Q: Can this be used with developmentally delayed adults or are the topics too child/teen oriented?**
A: I definitely think it can be used with adults. There are only 9 cards that specifically say "school", "class", "homework", "kid", or something of that nature. All of the other ones are neutral and could be for kids or adults. The other 9 are easily adaptable by changing a word or two which is what I do if I get the card while playing with my middle school students.

I work at a substance abuse residential treatment facility and I used this game in a group setting with my clients, they really loved it! The game is supposed to be geared towards teens and children, however I just pulled a couple a cards out that dealt with school and it worked perfectly for adults as well. There is a good mix of fun activity cards and cards that have great information on them, overall I highly recommend this game!
