It was easy to install. It is sturdy and versatile. It is nice being able to keep things covered, dry, and secure in the back and still be able to use the open bed when needed. There are a few things that keep it from 5 stars though.- There was some minor damage from packaging. Not enough to worry about for warranty, but BAK industries would do well to pay some closer attention to the quality of their packaging. For example, the end for one of the struts to hold the cover open was broken, but I had a spare from my boat.- It is necessary to open the cover to close the truck tailgate. This is to keep the seal strip from getting on the inside of the tailgate, which could damage it and leak. This takes two hands when sometimes only one is available. I don't have a solution, but it is an opportunity for improvement.- I find it difficult to find the little cable to unlatch the cover with gloves on. It is winter, and I sometimes wear gloves when loading things (delicate hands). And it is difficult to find and grab that little cable to unlatch the cover without reaching my neck up over the bed rail and looking under the cover. A more prominent grab would make it easier to blindly unlatch each section. An improvement might be a short pice of strap hanging on the cable to grab. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good cover but when purchased through Amazon, cannot be registered through Bak Industries *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2014* I like the cover so far, installation was fairly simple. I just installed it the other day. I wish the instructions were more detailed, but I figured it out.The one thing that bothers me a little bit is when opened it rests only on my window glass due to the curve of the rear window. I have a sliding rear window as well and I just worry about putting the weight on the glass. I have a 2014 Ram Express 4x4 Regular Cab.I went to Bak Industries website to register, as the paperwork says, and could not find the location to do so. Where do I do that?08:34:05 AM [Mike H.] When ordered from Amazon or Ebay it wil void the warranty on the product08:34:20 AM [Mike H.] So it cannot be registered for warranty claims ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works decent for the money but definitely not waterproof. *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2017* Not terribly difficult to install on my 2008 Ram 1500 quad cab, and seems to fit quite nicely. You'd think they'd give you some kind of padding to protect the paint on the bed rails from the rails that you clamp in place with this kit(?) I cut some flexible styrofoam to place between the 2. As well as I could fit it on the bed, I have to really slam the back panel over the gate on the driver side or it does not latch down. Also, I left my truck parked outside overnight with a heavy rain and found quite a bit of water in the bed towards the front of the truck, so definitely not a perfect seal. I like the security of having this cover along with a locking tailgate. Nice to be able to open it completely and access the full bed. Only pain is that you cant close the tailgate with the back panel in lockdown position.
