I font knit, so I didn't need a kit with all the knitting needles as well. This one has everything I need with a large variety of hooks in different sizes, scissors, stitch markers, thread needles, tape measurer, and more. I haven't figured out the counter tool yet, but I will work in that. The case is really cute and looks just like the picture. It's an open case with just the one large pocket so everything fits nicely. I'm so happy I now feel like I really belong to the crochet family. This is a great price for everything you need, especially for a beginner, but even for someone who has been crocheting for years. My mom liked it a lot too and she has been at it for over 40 years.
