What you ask may be hard to do. Just use mono cables. I hope this helps. **Q: I'm looking for a male stereo to two mono outputs... Is this the one I' m looking for?** A: Yes, provided you are looking to go from male stereo mini (1/8") to two male mono 1/4" outputs. (if you don't know the measurements, think of it this way: the stereo end is the same as a mini-headphone jack, like on an MP3 player, and the mono ends are the same size as, say, a guitar cable.) Of course, if you want the stereo end to be 1/4" as well there are adapters for that. Not sure if there's a 1/4" stereo to 1/4" mono Y cable. My own Yamaha Piaggero keyboard doesn't pick up any environmental feedback when connected to my iMac. But my Roland Sound Canvas is a bit noisy and my MT32 is very noisy.
