However, part of the comfort was due to the loose fit of the strap, and I judged that this was too loose for sustained walking, which is what I wanted them for. Probably fine for slopping about the house/ garden - and of course, your feet may be a different shape/size (though the dimensions of the sole was accurate for the quoted size, so it seemed there was a disproportion here). 4 stars because nearly excellent, but critically unsuitable for me - returned. Note, reordered size 7, which fitted my 8.5 feet just right.
