Each knife color matches the blade cover. The best part is that each knife blade has pictures of the kind of foods they should be used for. They work great and aren't so heavy that I can't hold onto them, and they have a nice grip. They wash up well and so far, have no rust on them (even though I have left them sitting in water for an extended period of time).
