This is possibly the best all around book on the raising of comfrey for feeding to chickens, pigs, horses and cattle. It contains lots of history of uses, primarily in the UK and Africa, but also in a few other areas. Well written, an entertaining read for anyone interested in plants and animals and these techniques have been very profitable to many of those smart enough to use them. Contains a lot of "how to" examples and suggestions.
