If you plan on layering I would get your actual size since it's amens jacket and will fit larger than women's sizes if you don't plan on layering you may want to go a size down to accommodate the size difference between a women's medium and men's medium etc. **Q: Does this jacket run true to size? I normally wear a regular size large.** A: It dose not run true to its size . If you wear size large I would get an xl . **Q: I am 5'6 170 pounds with a rounded stomach. This is correct, the large fits more like a medium, although it is just a tad bigger than I'd like. It still looks good and is not bad at all for the price. The picture shows an orange lining but it came with a blue lining, which is fine but would be nice if the pictures accurately reflected the product you're getting. It is pretty light so I wouldn't consider this for a winter coat, but it can be paired nicely with a sweatshirt underneath. It also has an interior pocket with a snap on the left side which I like, in addition to the zipper pocket on the left sleeve just below the shoulder, both which can accommodate a smaller money clip type wallet like the one I use. There were a few loose threads around the zipper but not nearly as bad of build quality as some others have experienced. The sleeves are a little big but I do have small hands and the bottom fits a little sug still. All and all it is a good fit. When I put my hand in the right pocket there was a hole and the padding inside was exposed. I just stiched that up and cut the bad stitching around the bottom and around the sleeve.
