Stop.go, walk.wait! this working toy traffic light makes ride-on toys a blast, while helping kids learn traffic safety. It changes colors, just like real stoplights, helping kids remember the meaning of green, yellow, and red. It teaches pedestrian safety, too, because while two sides of the light are set up for vehicles, the other two are red/green crosswalk signals. The four sides are timed to work together, so kids learn how intersections work. Set up a traffic "corner" in the middle of your driveway, and you'll be the hit of the neighborhood! with Auto and manual settings. Requires 4 "AA" batteries (sold separately). for ages 3 and up. On "Auto" mode, the lights change automatically at 30 second intervals (complete with a 5-second amber warning). set it on "manual" mode, and the lights stay unchanged until you press the button. Fill the base with sand or water for added stability 28 3/4"H.

Perfect addition for pretend play!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this two years ago and my son still loves it. It’s the perfect little red light for him to pretend drive. It has 4 lighted sides on it. 2 sides are a normal “red, orange, and green” light. The opposite 2 sides are “pedestrian crossing that have a red and green light with small figures in the back round. All the lights are in sync so when the red lights green, the pedestrian signal lights up red. Really cute and realistic.

Good Light- Very Small
As a school principal I use this to show where recess will take place (green=outside, yellow=in the classrooms, red=in the gym). I had my custodian use a bracket to mount to the wall since it was very short. Our school theme is cars and racing this year so this is a great addition.

My son loves it
I got this for my son for Christmas. He loves it, although the sequence of lights is unusal for the US. It goes from green, to yellow, to red, then it goes to red and yellow together before returning to green. My son doesn't seem to mind, so it is ok. It is nice how it can switch from manual mode to automatic mode.

Great Product, But Not Very Tall
My son really loves this traffic light and I love how you can control the lights or have them change automatically. I'm glad I read other people's reviews so that I wasn't surprised/disappointed with how short it is. Overall, I think it's great.

Excellent educational and play toy
Fantastic lights and have many uses. Apart form the standard driving his little tikes car/tractor/scooter and anything else that moves up to the traffic lights and then patiently waiting for them to change we have found an all together better use for them. I bet you can't get dressed before the light turns red has indeed transformed our morning routine. For a little boy who doesn't want to get dressed he now begs me to get dressed. They are very realistic and before I bought them I didn't realise they has the red/green man light also, this is genius! The stand as in other reviews is flimsy and would not/does not withstands winds anymore than mild and in fact I wouldn't even sneeze near it as it will fall! We have solved this by making another base. We had wet sand in the one supplied but just not long enough in the base and really needs to be a cross shape to work.We also use them for educational play where we mark out a zebra crossing on the drive and play pedestrian and then car driver, we take it in turns.....life doesn't get more exciting than that! The lights are worth the price I paid and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Very good product
I bought the traffic lights for my 5 year old brother who is obsessed with traffic! I was worried about the quality after reading some reviews, but went for it anyway and I am really happy that I did. The lights are really good quality, I wouldn't keep them outside in the wind but they are sturdy and the lights themselves are a nice, rich colour.I really like some of the extra functions as well, there is an automatic mode as well as a manual, meaning that he can just leave them to switch automatically whilst he rides around on a scooter. Also if they are left idle for a while they switch themselves off which is brilliant if you forget to turn them off, as it doesn't waste batteries!Overall, I am very happy with the product, possible minor point is that they are quite small (aprox. 1m) but my little brother loves them! Postage was quick and the product is good quality, which is all that I wanted, would definitely recommend.

My kids love it
My kids have had so much fun with this, how could I not mark it 5 stars! It has two modes of operation: auto when it will change the lights automatically every minute or so, or manual when you have to press the button on the top to change the lights (yes, on top, that was a bit odd, I would have expected a button that a "pedestrian" could press). The base could have been wider, it can fall over easily if knocked, but I won't take a star off the review for that simply because it has kept my boys entertained for hours and they never bore of it.

Perfect
Perfect present for my car/bus mad son. He has had hours of fun playing with this. He enjoys changing the lights manually. I love that it turns its self off when not being used. The batteries have lasted a lot longer than expected. It has been knocked over a few times and still working great.

Good value and much cherished toy.
Present for my 4 year old who kept asking for traffic lights and he loves it although everyone had to abide by them all Christmas when moving through our hall. Automatic setting is the most realistic one as push button needs pressing for each change, once to change to amber and once to change to red and the pedestrian light to green. Item still working well.
