This was clearly to cover a scuff, and was done so poorly, it was prominently visible on the upper and glaringly obvious with bright blue smudged onto the white outsole. As odd and frustrating as that was for new shoes, I had some other white-sole Stacy Adams shoes and they were getting marked up pretty badly, especially from black rubber car mats in my spring/summer car. The soles are kind of porous, so you cant just wipe them off real quick, but when I gave it a real go, I found the soles were actually remarkably easy to clean with just water and a careful scrub with scotchbrite, So, I decided to take a swipe at cleaning this messed-up pair of Parkers I got. The blue die came off the sole with just some scrubbing, so I carefully went at the miss-matched smear on the suede upper with a damp sponge and light brushing with scrubber pad. It took a while, but I got them looking nearly new, and the style, fit, sneaker-like comfort (w/ my added arch support insole) actual leather uppers, hard-to-find smaller sizes, and non-stop compliments had me ordering other colors and pretty much wearing this style all the time. I am still puzzled by the way this pair looked on arrival, but I think it was an a rare occurrence, as I now have five similar pairs and other reviewers aren't complaining about getting seconds. Bottom line, price plus my hassle of cleaning is nothing compared to how much I now love these shoes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for dressing up a casual outfit. *by P***K on April 14, 2017* Pretty nice and classy pair of shoes. Visually, they're a bit on the long side. I've received compliments on these. Quality is quite good.These shoes do not work well with formal wear, due to the white soles. They sort of have a sneaker feel and look to them, if that makes sense.My taste in fashion changed a bit since I've owned these, so unfortunately they're no longer in my collection. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Way too large, but stylish at a low price *by C***N on February 1, 2017* As others have said, these shoes are long! For me, at least 1.5 sizes too large, probably more like two. I wear a 10.5 in other Stacy Adams shoes and returned that size for a size 9 and still have room to spare around the toe area. Since I just started breaking these shoes in, I can't comment on the comfort or durability. They'll probably need softer insoles, and since they were $30, I don't expect them to last long and hold up very well.
