After battling these tiny whiteheads for some time, I finally discovered that the silicones (eg: dimethicone and others usually ending in the suffix, -one) contained in many of my face lotions, BB's, and other makeup items were the root cause of my pore plugging problems. First I systematically eliminated and replaced all of my sunscreens, lotions, skin treatments, and makeup (from powders to foundations to concealers) that contained any sort of silicone ingredients from my cache of face products. Then I replaced these products with predominantly natural products. I did find a few nice commercial products too that didn't contain them such as a Bare Minerals foundation. Finding silicone free products was no easy feat. I looked through dozens of products on numerous sites (the ones that actually listed ALL the ingredients, that is) and then narrowed down the products I wanted to buy and got them. This was an expensive feat to complete in such a short time. Now once I did all of this, my next challenge was to get rid of the plugged pores on my face. Along with the Clear Activating Mist, I got the Osmosis Clarify Blemish and Oily Skin Serum and began my trip to clear skin. Coincidentally, at the same time my husband and I began a month long trip to the the states between S. Carolina and Florida. I faithfully used these two products twice a day and lo and behold, within a week all of my plugged pores had cleared. I continued using both of them the whole trip along with my new silicone free products and not one plugged pore showed up despite wearing full makeup every day (sunscreen, foundation, concealer, powder, powder blush). Of note is that once back in Michigan and very cold weather, I did find my two Osmosis products a bit drying. If you have sensitive skin like I do, you may have to cut back to once a day until summer humidity and warmth arrive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pair this with your moisturizer or spritz by itself *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 16, 2016* I have been using this product to freshen and to add moisture to my face and neck for over 10 years! I feel that when it is used with a daily moisturizing lotion, one has one of the best ways of keeping those wrinkles from getting a foot hold! A good refreshing lift in the morning or during the day......office environments are often drying to the skin...too much?~ never rub, gently blot so as not to remove makeup!! .
