I would take a measuring stick and bend over and see if that height is uncomfortable. **Q: I am trying to order the rack in Mahogany with tan straps and the cart displays the correct product but lists it as Mahogany with Black straps???** A: The product I bought (at amazon.com) was: "Wooden Mallet Deluxe Straight Leg Luggage Rack, Mahogany, Brown Straps"; the "Style Name" I selected was: "Tapestry".
