Also have used for some vegetables. Works really well. Only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: - When I chop a bunch of pecans at a time, the small pieces and dust start collecting on the rubber cover and it messes with the seal. The bottom will sometimes pop off while I'm in the middle of chopping and make a mess. I just put a clean towel underneath so I can collect what flew out and clear the debrie messing with the cover. - The plunger gets stuck down sometimes, but not from clogging on food, it just sticks.
