And absolutely never gets soggy. I sometimes use my skoy cloth afterwards when I am wiping down counters. This cloth is awesome for getting dried egg off of plates, and is a wonder with soap scum in the bathroom. My sister loved it so much she stole a couple of mine. It makes short work of most of my cleaning task. **Q: Can this be used on non-stick cookware?** A: Yes, I've used on on my non-stick cookware with no problems. It works very well and very quickly. I like the fact that you can easily rinse food particles out it. **Q: What is this scrubber made of?** A: A plastic Teflon like material with what appears to be a slightly stiffer silver either plastic or the thinnest of metal woven through. I've used it on non stick pots with absolutely no issue though so it fits the brief of non scratch. It doesn't scratch, so it's equally good with stainless steel pots or cast iron pans that need some crud removed. In particular, I've been really delighted with how easy it makes cleaning a cast iron grill (you know, the kind with ridges where the burnt food bits get firmly stuck inside the grooves): I've used it after cooking burgers, steaks, and sausages, and every single time a couple of rounds of good scrubbing gets everything off. Haven't had to use a scraper or brush or anything else.
