I grind my own dried Ancho & Guajillo peppers for recipes. Store bought chili powders taste like chalk. Pffffft! Y'all throw that crap out! I ground up some of these chipotles to add to my Cajun Red Beans & Rice because I was out of Cayenne pepper. It tasted AMAZING! Best batch I ever made! They added an unexpected depth of flavor! They stood up to the garlic, Bay leaves and Thyme. I'll NEVER use Cayenne pepper again! I'm addicted to these peppers! I'm playing around with new family reunion recipe ideas so I made a batch of baked beans (Bush's Country Style Hickory & Brown Sugar canned) with hickory smoked bacon, onions, bell peppers, a little bit of Sweet Baby Ray's Brown Sugar & Hickory BBQ sauce and fresh ground SEEDED chipotles.
