**Q: What does a person do with the pee? Where would you dump it? Has someone figured out a way to compost it too?**
A: If I am at a marina I dump it in the restrooms , If it is your property it can safely be dumped outside . There are heads that heat to get rid of the  liquids , however these are expensive and problematic .Thanks,Jim

**Q: Does this fit inside in a 5 gallon bucket?  I use a seat on top of a bucket, and want to put a urine diverter on that.**
A: It does fit. It does however fills half the inside area of the bucket.

**Q: what is the gallon size?**
A: 2.2 Gallons

**Q: What are the dimensions of this bottle? I am building my own but this is the perfect urine container. Just need the size of the bottle.**
A: The bottle is essentially half a cylinder.  The flat part of the half circle is 11 inches.  The radius (if it were a full circle) is almost 6 inches.  It is 11 inches tall with a flat bottom and flat top except for the opening with the lid.

High quality urine container. Built my own urine separating toilet for my van. This was the best solution for a robust container. I added a float switch with indicator to show when it needs emptied. I also 3d printed a custom cap that holds a sealing device for the separator drain tube to insert into. It would be nice the supplier made spare caps available as they can get lost easily. Emptying is a breeze and the included handle makes transporting it easy…

The media could not be loaded. I used this component and a few more. To make my own composting toilet all from Amazon. Well make good value. I got everything the separator ,toilet seat,bags wood chips ext. For under 150$ it size is good easy to use and well made.
