I have readers all over the house but still seem to be without a pair when I need them. I have tried several styles of straps to hold my glasses and so far these are my favorite. The cloth ones work fine but during the Texas heat, they get too sweaty. These are nice and light and will not absorb sweat when working outside. Hopefully, they last a while. If they do not then I will be back to adjust my review.Summary of what I have tried.ThinOptics: Awesome! I keep them in my pocket at all times but you have to pull them out of your pocket and they are not comfortable to wear for very long.Clic Readers: Nice quality glasses but I ordered the original and they were just a little too narrow for my neck. The problem is that the glasses I have tend to fall of when I'm leaning over to do some precision drilling. This cord is comfortable & easy to adjust even when you're wearing the glasses! The elastic eyeglass cords that stretch but are solid require that you take the glasses off first in order to adjust the length. I bought these to use for bending over while working (I do not wear them all the time) so my prescription glasses do not fall off. There is no stretchy material like other straps which makes them extremely comfortable because nothing is pulling the glasses too tight to your face. The rubber ends of the strap go onto and off of the glasses earpiece without trouble, but do stay in place once they are on.
