I wear them under tops that might accidentally reveal too much. Most of my shirts and dresses are size 16 or 18 (38DDD bust) and the bandeau in XL/XXL works for my intended purposes. I would personally feel uncomfortable wearing them without something else on top (too tight and unforgiving for my taste) but as an under layer to cover cleavage, they are perfect. Also, I have worn the beige and black ones as slips under some skirts. They are a good length to wear from the waist down for an extra measure of modesty under dresses that are sheer or prone to "lift off" with a gust of wind.Note: the bright pink is much brighter than pictured--almost neon!
