They are cheap and light weight and extend up to about 7 feet. I’ve had an 80cm sqr softbox on one of these without any issue. I would advise putting a weighted bag on the feet to ensure complete stability. They would not suit a professional or anybody intending to mount heavy lights of modifiers as they are much too thin to withstand such equipment. I can’t imagine them standing up to any rough treatment or usage outdoors if the wind is blowing.
