What I did not realize ( and the reason for a star being taken away) is that when they said cotton blend they meant satin? These are very shiny, satiny pillow covers. I was anticipating a more cottony look, not shiny at all. I included pictures with my other throw pillows to show how shiny they are. I know some people probably like that look but I do not and therefore don't feel like I can use these pillow covers due to the shine.
