**Q: Ok looking authentic, but will it last  pity because the rest is well made.**
A: This has been outside for two summers and one winter so far.  Never faded and still looks the same.  It is attached to a very large chimney pot and looks great

**Q: Just received my emerging elf is the gate meant to be rusty ???**
A: Mine is rusty.  Ibthinknit adds to the effect, makes it look old and used.  Elvish!!!

**Q: How do you stick this onto a tree**
A: With a screw.  It is flat backed so will not sit right on a small tree.

This elf is a great size and will look good on any tree stump or in my case a rock. The opening window is a nice touch. It is a well built garden ornament which will last for years
