One man’s goey may be another man’s runny but I’m erring on the side of slightly thick but not quite goey, per se. It isn’t as thick as the bottles that cost 100 quid + obviously, and it isn’t as thick as the cheap balsamic syrup that looks good but doesn’t taste of anything but it’s a great balsamic for the price. I will be buying it again, it’s lovely stuff. **Q: Is this halal?** A: I believe it is. I emailed Odysea about this some time ago and although I can't remember the details, was satisfied that it is. **Q: Is this vinegar similar to the Belazu balsamic vinegar? Is it thick?** A: I'm a fan of Belazu Balsamic and its easily just as good(maybe better...need to do a blind taste test and yes its thick! **Q: I see this is unavailable now. Can anyone suggest a good alternative?** A: oh no, I hope that is only temporary, this is the best value decent balsamic vinegar I have found. I did find a similar one in Waitrose, but it was dearer about £12.95. unfortunately I don't remember what it was called, but was there second dearest bottle.
