I was looking for something that would be summer-thin yet with long sleeves, because I wanted baby's hands and feet covered to protect from sun exposure. These were just perfect. At six months and beginning of winter, I use them as a base layer at night, under warmer fleece pajamas. It keeps the baby warm without overheating the room. Personally, I don't understand snaps and embroidery on baby's clothes. Finding soft, fun, inexpensive, zipped and embroidery- or applique-free baby's outfits was a real challenge. These foot the bill from all sides.
