I don’t typically use more than 1/2 teaspoon at a time, but I don’t have an issue with sugar. Use your own judgement if the product is right for you. **Q: Are they lactose free & gluten free?** A: No. It says on the label that it contains milk and rice starch so my guess is that it is not gluten free or lactose free **Q: when will you be getting butter buds sprinkles in? I want to but some** A: Hi These have been discontinued. Some may be for sale on Amazon. Look for the "See all Buying Options" button on the right side of the Amazon page for Butter Buds. **Q: What is the expiration date?** A: I am sure the expiration date would be different than mine. It is stamped on the top of the container. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement! *by A***Y on March 9, 2023* Amazing, a little goes a really long way and it acts just like real butter in your food! Which it is real butter, but this would actually save a lot of money from buying butter at the store! It only really has a few ingredients in it so it’s pure butter. Making Fettuccine Alfredo? Why waste butter sticks & spend so much when you can mix this into the heavy whipping cream & the flavor and texture doesnt change from using butter sticks!! 10/10 highly recommend!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tastes like butter *by M***E on November 12, 2023* I was surprised, I’m not sure why, but hey. It’s really good. Cutting fat and sugar out is hard. This is a great product, the flavor is delicious. You put this on hot food, it melts down just like butter. I use this and black pepper to flavor my food at the table. Works great. Not expensive. Thanks to the seller. I love this stuff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than Molly! *by A***E on September 9, 2023* Trying to cut my cholesterol, I sampled the competitor first and was very disappointed. Besides being too salty, it was minimal on a butter taste.Butter Buds add a nice flavor to dishes without too much salt. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/78985893-butter-buds-sprinkles-butter-flavored-granules-low-calorie-fat-free](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/78985893-butter-buds-sprinkles-butter-flavored-granules-low-calorie-fat-free) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
