Review: Great tool - Decent price shipped quickly. Bought this because I have 7or8 porter cable 20volt tools that I like a lot. They have worked over and over and over not one has failed. I like that that they all use the same battery and I can purchase just the tool only. I have had this awhile now and it has performed great. I also don’t use it on a daily basis maybe several times a month so I can only comment as an occasional user. For my purposes it has performed very well. Very pleased with my purchase. Aloha
Review: Awesome Product - Does Exactly What I Need - I am a garage DIY guy who likes to have high quality tools that get used occasionally for various projects around the house. I have had a lot of success with various "Porter Cable" cordless tools in the past, especially like their cordless drills. I specifically needed this oscillating tool to cut through plexiglass after I had already heated it and put some sharp bends into the plexiglass and could not realistically cut it on a flat surface like using a table saw any longer. The half-moon shaped cutting blade in the Porter Cable oscillating tool is what I used on the 1/4" plexiglass and it worked out great. It took going across the material and sticking to my cutting line about 3 or 4 passes before it cut all the way through (slow and steady wins the day). After cutting all the way through it remained smooth (not excessive vibration) and I just continued up and down my cutting line till the whole piece was completely cut through and fell away. I loved the tool control and felt like it was easy to see my cutting line and keep the tool on my cutting line even with the tools vibration setting turned all the way up (I think like a level-6 best I remember). This "Porter Cable" Oscillating Tool is very handy and I can see it coming into use for many future projects. And at around $55-$60 on desertcart, the price cant be beat -- well worth it and much cheaper than the more Pro-line of tools out there (like Milwaukee or equivalent). Note: This tool comes without battery but for me, I didn't need a battery because I had two batteries and a charging station already that I had previously bought about 3 years ago along with a Porter Cable cordless drill. I think if you're considering switching over to Porter Cable cordless tools, I think for home DIY occasional project work it is a great idea.

**Q: Im redoing picket fence and would want to know if this is good for taking white paint off the fence.  The rigid scraper can handle the project?**
A: Yes you could remove the paint from your picket fence with this tool, you could also cut your lawn with scissors. If you start both project at the same time your lawn time your lawn would be done first.

**Q: Can you sand furniture with this tool or is it more of a cutting tool?**
A: Yelp...Sand away!..Great for small projects and getting in corners.

**Q: Can you cut glass tile with the attachements that come with this tool, or do you have to buy them seperately?**
A: I have nearly the full inventory of porter cable 20V cordless tools and i'm very satisfied with all of them. That said, however, this is the least useful and i would NOT cut tile, let alone glass tile with it. You'd be better off with an angle grinder (though i haven't tried that) and best off with a tile saw. I'm cutting ceramic title currently and using a QEP tile saw that i bought for $50.

**Q: Does this work well as a sander?**
A: O yeah it works great as a sander. Its made for tight spaces,ie: corners and edges and even grooves.Good luck !!!

I waited too long to get this. Other friends bragging about oscillating tools finally pushed me to get this. So glad I did.. Uses the same batteries as all my other Porter Cable tools. All are great quality and have lasted me for years with no failures yet.
