I did my normal method -- put 2 tablespoons in a water bottle with abouta cup of water, shake vigorously, and chug. I will say it is definitely "strong" -- you feel it very quickly. But, 2T are just too much in the nausea department. I had a pretty miserable experience with it one night -- felt very "groggy" (that's what kava does) plus nausea. Pretty "blah." The next night I took 1 tablespoon and didn't have a problem and felt pretty good (kava, if you haven't tried it, gives you effects up to a certain point and no farther regardless of how much you drink -- this in stark contrast to alcohol). In comparison, I have tried multiple of the more expensive, hard to get kavas at gourmet Hawaiian and bula; some of them were similar. Kava, again unlike alcohol, has huge variation of effect from product to product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ cost effective *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020* This is the 2nd brand i tried cause it was more cost effective then the 1st person i ordered from but it was Vanuatu in a 25g can which you only needed a tsp of the 1st brand.
