I have been working on a 3D printed insert, specifically for Altoids tins. The insert has been modeled to fit perfectly and snug inside of the tin after getting over the upper edge. I was excited when I saw these tins, partially because they are half the cost of having to buy Altoids, and also because they looked really great (and in person, they really do look really slick)Unfortunately, there is just enough of a size difference that my insert simply cannot make its way into the tin. This is such a minor thing, and honestly these things are SO close that I'm not going to ask for a refund or anything, it will just take me a few days of trial and error for getting the insert adjusted to meet the needs of this variation.Otherwise, except for requiring absolute precision with the measurements - these look awesome and I can't wait to finally nail it down and be able to use these as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Size, Identical to Altoids Tin with one minor difference *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2019* Picked these up because I was looking for some tins that were the same size as an Altoids tin. These tins are the same size with one small, minor difference. The lid thickness is slightly thicker which makes the lid deeper than an Altoids tin (see photos). The overall size (HxWxD) of the tin is the same, but this makes it a bit easier to stuff things in the lid. The other thing I noticed is that the finish on these are matte black and not gloss black which the photo seems to suggest they are gloss black.
