They were a pretty red and they did not look like cheap man made heels, even though I am fairly certain they are not leather. They look like leather; so, I can’t say for sure. They have a nice low heel and were comfortable and she was able to dance and wear them the whole night. She is normally a 6N but we ordered these in a 5.5 based on other reviews. They fit her perfectly. She has a narrow foot and a VERY narrow heel but with this style shoe she could fasten the strap tight enough that the shoe fit without being at all loose.
