I can’t praise this book enough.I spent an ungodly amount of money on "the" commercial bar prep program... you all know what I'm talking about. I am 1 week out from the bar exam and I ordered this because of the reviews and I need some help with my memorization/essay attacks. This is literally saving my life. 1. it presents ALL material in an easy to read/digestible format; 2. it presents realistic and helpful attack sheets; 3. the essays, samples, and breakdowns are incredibly helpful.IF i pass the bar.. it is 100% due to this book. The hardest part about the bar [for me at least] is figuring out whats important and how to memorize. Bar prep programs give you too much information--I swear its some sleazy effort to assert intellectual dominance and keep people afraid NOT to sign up for a bar prep program.I am thoroughly pissed I didn't buy this book like 6 weeks earlier. I would be in the best position if I had. If you are studying for the bar, BUY THIS. Seriously. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Passed CA Bar on first try using this book *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2018* I passed the California Bar Exam on my first try using primarily this book and a set of MBE practice questions. My wife is currently studying for the California lawyers' exam using this book. I have recommended it to just about everyone I know who is taking the California Bar Exam.When I was studying for the bar exam, I purchased an expensive test-prep course which I ended up using very little. I was working during my test prep and did not have as much time to study as I would have liked. This book presents the substantive material in a concise format that I found much more efficient than the other (longer, more expensive) courses. The truth is, you don't need to know EVERYTHING about the tested subjects in order to pass the bar exam. You DO need to be able to spot all of the major testable issues quickly. That's what this book teaches you to do. I also found the "attack" outlines invaluable when I got closer to the exam. If you did pretty well in law school, I would consider skipping the overpriced bar prep courses that prey on your fear and anxiety and the to convince you the only way to pass the bar exam is to shell out thousands of dollars for their bloated products. At least, it worked for me.I rarely leave reviews and am in no way affiliated with the publisher of this book. I just think it's that good, and kind of despise the bar-prep-course industry, which many of us simply don't need. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Skip the bar prep course and get this book *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2019* I wasted my time was Themis. Nothing was sticking in my head. I found this book 1 month before the exam, and it totally saved me. Well, I haven't gotten my results yet, but I wish I had this book before I got Themis. Here's my plan if I need to take it again: This book, adapibar, and bar essays dot com. Seriously, that's all you need. Don't waste time with Bar Preps.
