Review: Great price for a quality product - These unfinished peg dolls are amazing! There are no rough edges, splinters, or imperfections. I love the various sizes the come in. They arrived quickly and ready to paint. My daughter enjoyed playing with them before they were even decorated. I will be ordering more as they are great for gifts, DIY projects, and playtime! Review: Great craft pegs! - I bought these to make rustic nativity sets for a ladies’ brunch craft. It was great! We used 3 pegs of various sizes to create the holy family, and every gal embellished their own with bits of ribbon and greenery. Such a fun way to use the pegs. Next time I will buy two sets to have the right ratio of heights of dolls. They are well-made pegs. ## Features - Proudly made in the USA - Not treated with chemicals; our wood is untreated, unfinished and is absolutely non-toxic - Made from quality hardwood; we only use beautiful, high grade Birch and Maple - Lots of variety; set of 40 includes men, women, angels, boys and tots - Durable wood; resists denting and splintering; very smooth ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0189Y8W44 | | Best Sellers Rank | #57,889 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #1,060 in Unfinished Wood | | Brand | Koalabu | | Brand Name | Koalabu | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,939 Reviews | | Item Dimensions | 5.12 x 5.51 x 1.97 inches | | Item Length | 2.38 Inches | | Item Weight | 0.28 Kilograms | | Item Width | 0.88 Inches | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 5.12 x 5.51 x 1.97 inches | | Manufacturer | Koalabu | | Manufacturer Part Number | AN-8T9H-CADR | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | AN-8T9H-CADR | | Number of Pieces | 40 | | Shape | Peg Doll | | UPC | 640746421211 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Koalabu - **Item Weight:** 0.28 Kilograms - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5.12 x 5.51 x 1.97 inches - **Material:** Wood - **Shape:** Peg Doll ## Images ![Natural Unfinished Wooden Peg Doll Bodies, Quality People Shapes, Great for Arts and Crafts, Birch and Maple Wood Turnings, Artist Set of 40 in 5 Different Shapes and Sizes - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81RkqtFAygL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: did the package say it is made in USA?** A: Our wooden peg doll bodies are made in the USA by a small, family run woodworking company that takes great pride in their work. **Q: Is this made in China** A: No! I received a message from the owner of this company and they are a family owned business and are in the US. **Q: Which non-toxic paint works well on these dolls?** A: I have used RealMilk Paint and Americana. The Americana outdoor paint has a really nice sheen to it. The RealMilk paint is chalky so I put a non toxic clear coat on it. Mine was by Saman. **Q: Acrylic paint works for these??? or has to be a especial paint** A: Yes, I used acrylic craft paints and they worked great! It was great! We used 3 pegs of various sizes to create the holy family, and every gal embellished their own with bits of ribbon and greenery. Such a fun way to use the pegs. Next time I will buy two sets to have the right ratio of heights of dolls. They are well-made pegs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well Made and Versatile *by J***L on April 29, 2021* I love this set of wooden peg dolls. They are well made and versatile. I painted them rainbow colors with non-toxic, child safe acrylic paint and it worked well! My baby enjoys playing with his rainbow friends! It did need a few coats of paint to look the way it did, but the wood grain showing through wasn’t a bad look either. I only used the two bigger sizes here and plan to keep the rest for later. I am excited about little art projects later on, as I can make them seasonal and matching for different occasions.
