Because dog food ingredients can be difficult to judge, I did a lot of research online to find out which ingredients should be avoided. My favorite resource for deciding if a dog food is safe and meets my dog's needs is Dog Food Advisor. I first learned about Eagle Pack Power online and was impressed by both the ingredient list and the price. There aren't that many dry dog foods that earn Dog Food Advisor's 5 star rating, but this one does.My dog is a 60 pound mixed breed, probably hound and shepherd, maybe some lab. She is pretty active, but doesn't have a high drive. She isn't a hard working dog, although she does run a 5K with me three or four times a week. She's almost two years old and, as the vet said, "all muscle." I was worried that this variety of food might make her gain weight, but she is as lean and healthy as ever. Her skin and coat look great, she doesn't have gas, and she doesn't smell like dog. She's been on this food for a couple of months (with some other high quality foods mixed in from time to time). The other day I realized she hasn't thrown up since I started giving her this food -- she used to randomly vomit, maybe once every three or four weeks, for no reason I could determine, even though the bulk of her diet was on another high quality grain free food.This food contains no corn or grains, no sugar, no artificial colors, no artificial preservatives. The source of meat is clearly listed and it contains probiotics. My dog is happy and thriving on this food and loves the taste. I quickly saw changes in my dog. She has more energy and muscle tone. Her fur looks very healthy. At first, I was worried about the food arriving with moles or insects, because from other dog foods reviews that was an issue. That was not an issue with this dog food. Since the first time I got it, not once has it come contaminated. I have bought 4 bags of the Power adult dog food, and all of them came in excellent conditions. I recently bought 2 bags and both are in excellent conditions. 2 bags of the Power adult dog food last me 3 months, I have a 90 lbs (Great Pyrenees mix) and my brother has a 10 lbs (Chihuahua mix) dog. We feed these two dogs the same food.I researched many high quality dog foods (using Dog Food Advisor) but they are too expensive, this is the only dog food I found that has a great price for the amount of dog food given. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great dog food *by K***I on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2019* My three dogs love it, but they’ll basically eat anything I put in front of them. My only gripe is the delivery -an Amazon driver brought the first two 40 lb bags to the door, but then it started coming by USPS who won’t come up my driveway so I had to pick it up at the PO.
