I will say I didn’t replace them immediately just from a little crack here and there I kept them on until the protective screen was noticeably damaged and affected my view or touch. I did notice small mystery cracks that didn’t come from dropping the phone at all but most likely from being in my pocket contacting keys or other hard objects. They did the job and the privacy aspect of it worked well with mine. I wasn’t very clumsy with my phone either, only an occasional drop between the seats or from getting out the car, plus I have an *Older better quality version of the Otterbox Defender* case that’s been on it since the beginning.
