This morning the alarm was going off, with a reading of 54ppm. There hasn't been any combustion or chemicals in the workshop since it was installed. I took the alarm home, set it out in the garden, did a couple of sensor heating cycles on it (this is how the sensor resets itself) and it still read 53 to 57ppm outdoors in the hills of yorkshire, so it's been returned.Can't say how good it is at detecting actual monoxide, but other than not working it seems like a good device. ### ⭐ Don't waste your money or time. Pay a bit extra and buy a branded one *by B***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 June 2021* Instructions were non descript, although there's only 1 button I can't say it was overly successful given I placed it next to an open gas bottle and I'd didn't souch as flash. Plus it's has to be constantly plugged into the mains. Maybe my fault but I read rechargeable battery as maybe potentially portable. Makes sense they send such a long cable. The battery seems to be living up to the suggested times and it’s very easy to operate. The only negative is that it’s a bit plasticky and could of had a more premium/solid feel to it.
