I got the blue teflon tape and could instantly tell the difference in quality. It's a lot more durable, and doesn't shred the moment it comes in contact with some slightly sharp threads. It sticks well, and doesn't unravel the moment you start putting a bit of pressure on it while winding. It feels a bit thicker than normal teflon tape, which probably lends to the things I just mentioned. I've used it on garden hoses, random projects, and indoor plumbing with no issues. Super easy to use and way less of a headache than the cheap stuff. And the nice blue color is a little bonus, makes it easier to spot in a drawer when you need it. This stuff is a whole different animal, it's thick and beefy plus the whole roll is filled with tape - they use the whole package - there is a lot of tape here.
