I've not used the little shoe bag yet, but I think it'll come in useful for longer trips when I might need a 2nd pair of shoes. The quality of materials absolutely justifies the cost, and the designs are amazing, having both different colours, but also the names of the national parks for easy identification. In terms of how it has changed my travelling, I managed to go away for 3 nights recently with my normal sized backpack, saving me money on carry-on bags, as everything went under the seat in front.
