### ⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Seems to work well.

This thing seems to work very well. But it's a bit finicky to install. For the light flush, it's vital that the toilet bowel fill up as much as is possible, or it won't flush all the way down. But that means when you use the full flush, the bowel will fill up to more than the max amount the bowel will hold, and all surplus water will just go over the trap until the tank stops filling. I can't figure out how to overcome this. Also, the instructions say to turn the float assembly until it locks in place. But mine would turn all the way around until it was unlocked again. So I just turned it until it was about 180º and left it there. I have not had it long enough to know if, and how much it will save me on water, if anything. So I can not comment on that.

    Okay.

I wanted to purchase something that would save me some money. Install was ok, not hard but you have to read instructions carefully. Working in close quarters on install was a bit tricky. Large hands might have some problems. After 3 months, I find that water is seeping into toilet. Pulled unit, reseated and installed new tie strip. Still a bit of water seepage Probably will eventually replace with new flapper valve that has adjustable water release into toilet..

Works great, much better than older version

*by J***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 27, 2014*

Updated 2017/4/20: see at the endFor background, I purchased the original model that had a split button. That version is less intuitive (who isn't familiar with a flush handle?), the button was fairly large, and worst of all it required a large amount of pressure to push either half of the button. They sell a version that is the updated handle only, but it doesn't work on the older units. You can tell if you can upgrade by the color of the tubing to the unit by the color (blue or green). This unit is much better, primarily for the method of flushing. In comparison, the split handle is SIGNIFICANTLY easier to use. It is very easy to press the handle. The full handle for a full flush (so people that aren't familiar or aren't paying attention, they will muscle memory just flush like normal, that is to say press down on the side at the end -- full flush), to do a half flush, there is a split around the center of the handle and you press on that. If you actually have it, it is easy to see (there is also a 1 dot and 2 dot symbol on each section to signify half/full flush).Installation is really easy as well. Could take about 10 minutes as they say. Turn off water supply, flush, clear out any remaining water in tank, pull out flapper and handle, put in new unit, turn on water supply, done. If you plan on replacing multiple units/toilets, it will take less time.In addition to full/half flushes, this also eliminates having to worry about the handle chain or flapper getting stuck (since it replaces your existing handle and flapper). If you need to replace either of those components and want to conserve water, pick this up! Even if you don't care about saving water, the unit is also performs well as a regular full flush unit. Recommended!Update 2017/4/20:It has been a couple years and the seal started to make noise. Upon investigation, the blue disc seal started to have air bubbles which wouldn't allow a good seal and make noise. I tried to source a local replacement at the bigbox improvement store but didn't find one for this brand. I contacted Danco (the unit says GoMJSI but it redirects to Next by Danco) about where I could get a replacement and they ended up sending me on gratis. Unit still works fine as it did originally. Would still like to find a source for replacement parts. I think Ace may carry it but there aren't any near me anymore.
