This will make it much easier to put on, though I imagine I will still need help in working the snaps. Like others have said I would be gentle with the snaps on the soft fabric. Since I haven't used them yet I can't say they will hold up but perhaps when I am able to type again I will update this. Update: Three and a half weeks since the surgery and i still use these daily. Well actually mainly at night to sleep in as I can wear button down shirts in the daytime. The black shirt has held up really well. still soft and comfortable. I have had no problems with the snaps on either shirt. The gray shirt starting pilling after one gentle machine wash. Not so with the black. Just glad I got two. I do recommend these to anyone undergoing shoulder surgery.
