I have 2 brass pipes. One had 5 years worth of resin, one I've cleaned periodically so there wasn't as much build up. I soaked the first one overnight and it was like new. The other I soaked for 3 hours and it also was like new. I've reused the same stuff a half dozen times with the same result, so these 2 bottles should last years. I found my brass doesn't stick and one comes apart and goes back together easily. I had problems with it sticking with alcohol and salt. Do not leave anything with a rubber tip in overnight, however.
