It really does protect the cables/keep them straight very well, while not adding too much more bulk to your wire. I now use them on all my important wires that break easily/look cheap. They're easy to use and easy to customize. Just a bit time consuming but once on there it does not come off/lasts. I only removed one star because you really have double wrap them for full protection. I wish they were thicker, they're a little weak on their own.
