There are 4 fans in here and i got them on sale for only 11.99. Some people say they dont push much air, and honestly they would be right. They dont push nearly as much air as say a BeQuiet! or Noctua, or Thermaltake. etc. But that being said they are dead silent, they have molex and 3 pin connectors on the same wire for each fan in case you are like me and dont have a dedicated fan controller. That being said they are so quiet and pretty low RPM fans so running them full speed with molex all the time is perfectly acceptable in my eyes. After installing 3 of them to my case my temps in 35C summer time ambient heat dropped by 15C under heavy gaming, from 75C gpu/cpu to 60C. Over time I will gladly upgrade all of these to much faster, higher quality fans, but its a quick and dirty solution that is dead silent so i cant complain one bit! I mean come on, you are getting 4 fans for the price of 1 what do you expect? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little fans repurposed *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2017* I use these in our fireplace heat-o-later. The 2 original fans were ineffective and noisy. There were five fan mount holes but only 2 fans. Cheap manufacturing install! I ordered a set of 120mm fans for quiet and efficiency several years ago. They eventually wore out and quit.I ordered two sets of these and installed one set about a month ago.These are more quiet that the first set of 120's were. I use a 100mw 12volt dc power supply to run them and it sets in the 5th hole with a cover over it. The whole setup is very efficient. We heat the family room & kitchen all winter - about 18' x 27' area with this setup.Great little fans repurposed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fan. As some of the reviewers stated, the fans are pretty audible ( I won't say noisy). If you are someone who owned other 140mm fans especially the ones with high Static Pressure, you might be disappointed with the amount of noise this fan produces. I am telling you: please don't be because everything is relative. Fans with high static pressure will always be noisier than regular case fans. As the static pressure increases with higher RPM, the fan will typically get noisier. It's true the Rosewill Hyperborea pushes more air and has higher air flow @ the same RPM when compared to a fan like the Noctua NF-A14 iPPC 3000 or 2000. But it's noisier as well. Overclockers.com has done a nice roundup testing comparing a bunch of 140mm radiator fans (I attached a picture of the testing results). You can tell that the NF-A14 @ 1500 RPM exhibits the same performance as the Hyperborea @ 1300 RPM with almost the same amount of noise. If you are using this fan as a Radiator fan and you appreciate a silent PC, you have to know that you will have to run it @ 1000 RPM at most (900 RPM is preferable). That doesn't mean you are compromising the performance of your system because @ 1000 RPM those fans will cool as good as other fans @ 1300 or 1500 RPM. Given it's hard to find a good 140mm radiator fan ( unlike 120mm fans ), I will have to say those ones are considered among the good ones: 0. Excellent value, almost 1/2 the price of any other high end quality radiator fan (Noctua or Noiseblocker .....) 0. Long sleeved cable 0. PWM 0. Good relative performance with high static pressureNote: Those fans are identical to the Akasa Apache 140mm fans.
